GAnalyzer Datasheet

GAnalyzer is a Windows PC client program that provides a graphical interface for logging and displaying 709.1 (LonTalkTM) packet streams from a GadgetGateway. Each invocation of the GAnalyzer client can retrieve a packet stream from a GadgetGateway over an IP connection. The GA plus GG combination provides the unique capability of remote (over IP) protocol analysis, monitoring, and packet logging of LonTalk (ANSI 709.1) channels. GA parses and graphically displays packet steams of either saved logs or in real time. GA has filtering capabilities and also supports generation and importation of log files in either delimited text or (.prc) format. Interoperable Convenient Configuration

The GAnalyzer uses the open standard EIA-852 IP tunneling protocol to connect to ANSI 709.1/IP gateways. This enables flexible remote protocol analysis from almost anywhere. OEMs and systems integrators benefit by having convenient access to all the data necessary to remotely trouble shoot and fine-tune 709.1 networks. Adept's EIA-852 implementation interoperates with leading network management tools, such as, LonMaker.

Filtering and Searching Capabilities

GAnalyzer provides basic packet filtering and searching capabilities. Because of the (.prc) export support, GAnalyzer logs may be collected over the internet and then further analyzed with higher-end protocol analysis applications.

Customized Versions
